All Sophie wants under the Christmas tree this year are treats, treats, treats and more treats!!
Giving her things like toys, a new bed, or a pretty new collar as gifts is just like giving small children socks and underwear for Christmas .... it doesn't go over very well. She gets very upset - Things get ugly, Christmas is ruined, lives destroyed. You get the idea.
With this in mind, Sophie's Recommendation for Santa Paws and Pet Parents this year is ....
The Amelia Biscuit Company Tons O' Treats Gift Pack!
(She designed this herself, at the Paris Store)
This gift includes:
• Fresh Breath $9.99
• Tucker's chicken $1.99
• Rollover Large Beef $13.99
• Large Merry Christmas Bone $6.50
• Cannoli 2-pack $5.50
• Large Gingerbread Man $6.50
Sophie also has some wrapping suggestions too:
Put all the treats into your pooch's very own big Christmas stocking and hang it near the tree (putting it on the floor might be dangerous).
A new shiny food bowl, cushy dog bed, or toy storage basket make the perfect and practical container for wrapping treats. All you do is place the treats inside the bowl, bed or basket, wrap in festive cello (you can buy a roll or even giant bags at your local dollar store, Michael's, or Walmart), and close tight with pretty ribbon curls and a tag.
Get a lovely, new, big treat jar that you can use all year round for your Amelia Biscuit Company goodies (keeps them safe too). Put the treats inside, and then add a pretty bow and/or curled ribbon along with a tag, and voila - perfect gift.
For fun, wrap each item in tissue paper and place in a nice gift bag, and then Christmas morning or anytime during the holidays, when some pup has been very good, let them unwrap something special (this works best with the bigger items, and try not to let them eat the wrapping).
There are tons of festive and fun ways to wrap and give Sophie's Tons O' Treats Gift Pack!
As for what Sophie would like to give this holiday season, she'd like you to consider the Simcoe and District Humane Society. Sophie was abandoned on the side of the road, and luckily she followed her nose to the Amelia Biscuit Company bakery (sometimes being so food driven can save your life). Sophie is always thankful that she found her furever home so easily, and one with tons of great treats, but she knows so many animals in the Simcoe area need help to be so lucky. So, she'd like you to donate to, volunteer at, or adopt from the Simcoe and District Humane Society. Check out their website and see what you can do to help.
Just a reminder, the Amelia Biscuit Company store in Paris is open every Sunday until Christmas, 11am - 4:30pm. Pop on in for your pet needs and wishes, and you just might see one of our biscuit girls in the store picking out items for their Christmas wish list.
At Amelia Biscuit we bake the happy into healthy dog treats ... for the holly, jolly, Howliday Season!!
